Just Be Still.

Cast thy burden upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee:he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22

We all at sometime or another suffer the flings and arrows of life and its hardships. There are nights of endless praying and crying that feel like a pouring rain storm of pain. It would be easy to say that what you are going threw the pain won't last when you are still going threw. That is the word STILL. I look back in my life and think didn't I go through this already? But this time is different than the last because the hurt is greater that the last time. But are we the same people we were from the last time to this trial time? No we are not, for we have grown up in Christ. Sometime the problems that we suffer again with is just not about us but someone that you love and it affects us. We are a much stronger person now than last time because we know that the Father would not let us go through this storm and He not go threw it with us.

This is the hardest thing that I have ever been threw I say to the Father, I don't know if I can take anymore. I didn't do anything wrong so why are you mad at me Father, Why did you leave like this? Can't you see that the person who did this is not me? This is what I say when I am so hurt and blinded by the situation. I am sure you have question like these too. Then we are reminded to pray for the person who caused the affliction to us and we come to the fork in the road called I don't have words to pray for this person Father.

I know that I should but this pain is so great that I just don't have any words. Then the test of strength comes and you are tempted by the devil and he whispers why do you let that person or people get to you like that? Why don't you teach them a lesson! Show them that you are no ones fool and that you don't have to take what they did to you. So do what they did to you to them and that will teach them to mess with you, or nobody can tell you not to do this or that! Just who has the right to tell you what to do! Child you are grown!

That would be just so easy but then that still small voice speaks to you late in the midnight hour and says" Be Still and Know That I am GOD!" and just when the devil thinks that he has you, he don't. Because the Father is always right there. Crying for me is not about weakness, but about wanting to do something that I know that I should not do and can't. I get mad and cry because the God in me won't let me. It would hurt me more to disappoint The Father that to get back at the person who wronged me. " I just want that person to feel how badly they hurt me Father"!
and the Father asked me" did you ever stop and wonder if the person who hurt you was really trying to hurt themselves"? "The Battle is not yours to fight, stand still and know that I am God"!

It's not always about you just be still. My mother said to me "Hold your hope" It took me a long time to learn what that meant but I know that I have to put my trust and faith in God for everything, even when things are at it's worst hold on to all of the promises that the Father made to me. If your wondering, What promises? well here are a few.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8 Wisdom

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:4 Comfort

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Matthew 6:12 Forgiveness

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who know no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 salvation

These are just a few of the promises that the Father made to me and you. I know that your hurts are beyond my understanding. I realize that I could not ever understand the unspeakable thing that has happened in your life. I know that My Father is also your father and he loves you and me. I know this because in times when you have cried to the point that the tears turn in to moaning and groaning it is then that your heart is speaking to the Father. He hears you and He is there for you. Just lay still and let him comfort you and dry away your tears. Let Him hide you in the shadow of His wings, for He know and He cares all about you and the hurts that you have.
